MONTANA RANCH
The design of the project was to create a modern ranch in the vernacular of Montana and the West, but without all of the typical clichés of a "Western" interior. The blending of old and new was a constant dialogue for the interiors, to ensure that the end result was always an honest interpretation of the original design concept. Many of the furniture pieces were custom designed by Ortega and manufactured in Jackson Hole and Cody, Wyoming, and all of the rugs were custom designed and woven by artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico.
