PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA
This classic example of Palm Springs architecture was designed in 1957 by Donald Wexler as a winter retreat for the Florsheim family. The current owners wanted a contemporary weekend get-away home, without becoming too confined to the mid-century vernacular. This project was recently photographed by renowned photographer Julius Schulman in conjunction with the Palm Springs modernism show in February of 2008.
